Rest, reliquum od. Plur. reliqua. quod rel iquum est. quod reliquum restat. quod restat od. quae restant (das Übrige, was von einer Masse od. Menge, von der man genom bmen hat, noch übrig bleibt). – residuum od Plur. residua (das Rückständige, das, was noch nicht gegeben, gezahlt, abgeliefert ist). – reliqui summa (der Rest als Summe). – pecuniae reliquae (der Rest von einer Summe Geldes). – pecuniae residuae (die alten, rück ständigen, Schulden). – reliquiae (die Überbleibsel, Überreste, w. s.). – reliquum quod remansit (der Rest in einem Gefäße etc.). – reliqui (die übrigen, von Personen, z.B. ein Teil der Senatoren etc .... der Rest etc., pars senatorum ... reliqui). – oft auch durch reliquus. a, um, z.B. der R. des Geldes, reliqua pecunia. – den R. bezahlen, reliquum conficere; persolvere, quod reliquum restat: noch im R. bei jmd. sein, nondum persolvisse alci, quod reliquum restat. – als R. bleiben, reliquum esse: als R.
